SCCC is organising a business mission to Sichuan in May 2018 on the occassion of the 10 year memorial of Sichuan earthquake.

During this mission, we will visit Chongqing and Chengdu and learn about the development of the southwest China. One of the highlight of the mission will be the 10 year memorial of the Sichuan earthquake in Longxing Town, which is jointly organised with the Swiss Consul General in Chengdu and the local government.

Between 2008-2010, Swiss companies and individuals joined forces in the SWISS Community Reconstruction Project and built a kindergarten in Longxing according to Swiss standard and quality.

Business mission details:

Date of mission: 7 - 12 May 2018

Locations: Chengdu, Chongqing, Longxing Town

Program:  6 Days, 5 Nights business trip from Zurich to Sichuan

7 May: Arrival in Chengdu

8 May:

• Business Luncheon Swisscham Southwest-China
  
• Visit the car manufacture Volvo
• Business Dinner together with the  Swiss Consulate Chengdu
  

9 May:

• Transfer to Chongqing and visit of the Exhibition Hall Chongqing and Raffle's city construction site or diesel generator company (name tbc)
• Visit of the Liangjiang New Area followed by business dinner with Liangjiang New Area representatives
  

10 May: 

• Business meeting with the Chongqing Government
  
• Visit of the motorbike company Zongshen Industrial Group
  

11 May: 

• Presentation on Industry 4.0 / Robotics projects by Mr. Daniel Heusser, [ v i r t u a r c h ] 
• Transfer to Longxing to visit the Longxing Kindergarten, a Swiss Community Project
• Attend the Memorial Concert of 10 Years Wenchuan Earthquake organised by the Swiss Consulate Chengdu
  

12 May: End of business mission, back to Switzerland or continuation of personal trip 

The price for participating in the business mission to Sichuan (incl. memorial for the Sichuan earthquake) is:

Members: 600 CHF

Non-members: 800 CHF
