Moonlight shining through the window
Makes me wonder if there is frost on the ground
Looking up to see the moon
Looking down I miss my hometown

The Mid-Autumn Festival, in Chinese called Zhongqiu Jie (中秋节), is a celebration of the rice harvest and traditionally falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year. This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 29.
On this festival, let us gather to thank for the rich harvest and to encourage the harvest-giving light to return again in the coming year. Together with our co-organizer CEIBS, we invite you to celebrate this festive moment on Wednesday, September 27 with entertainment, self-made mooncakes and Chinese dinner while meeting old and new members from the Swiss-Chinese family community.
