Terms and Conditions

General

Online orders placed on the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce website automatically imply a payment obligation. An order is binding as soon as it is submitted and a confirmation e-mail is received.


Prices

The prices stated are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and apply at the time of the order.


VAT

Membership fees are VAT-exempt, events are subject to VAT.


Method of Payment

Events:

All major credit cards, electronic invoice (CHF 10.- additional handling fee for each reminder)

Membership:

Shipping

CHF 8.- per mailing. For postage abroad current postal fees apply.


No-Show charge and cancellation of events / Cancellation of Membership / Return of goods

No-Show charge and cancellation of events:

If not specified differently on the invitation flyer, cancellation of registration is accepted until the end of the registration deadline. Otherwise, full registration fee will be charged.

Should an event be cancelled by the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the full registration fee will be returned.

Membership and Cancellation:

For the first year, membership fees are calculated on a half-year basis. From January 1 until June 30, the full yearly fee is charged. After July 1 until November 30, half of the yearly fee is charged. New members joining in December pay for the ensuing year.

Membership are calendar year memberships and as such have to be terminated by two month advance written notice to be given as of the end of the calendar year at the latest, otherwise membership fees are due and payable by the 1st of January.


Privacy Policy

The Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce takes your privacy concerns very seriously. Personal information is not exchanged with third parties for commercial purposes.

In case of events co-organized with partner organizations or companies, your personal data may, however, be shared with these partner. By registering these events, you are considered to give your personal consent for sharing your personal data with related partners, unless we receive your message indicating an express decline of such a share.


Law and Jurisdiction

Any dispute is governed by and has to be interpreted under Swiss Law. Court of jurisdiction is 8045 Zurich.
