The requirements for transferring personal information from China to the rest of the world – including Europe – has become a burdensome exercise. In addition, the Chinese cyber security regulations are very vague and the definition of compliance is not built into them. However, companies like yours are faced with the requirement to become compliant.
In this legal chapter luncheon, two experts will present you hands-on solutions:
- David Rosenthal lays out, from a European perspective, how international groups of companies deal with the transfer of personal information, including how to perform a “PIPIA”, the PRC version of a data protection impact assessment.
- Kent Kedl will focus on how the cyber security regulations are being enforced and what Swiss companies should be paying attention to.
We look forward to seeing you at the luncheon.
